Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Svive.gg collects and processes personal data.

Svive.gg, represented by the CEO, is the data controller for the company’s processing of personal data. The data controller has ultimate responsibility for ensuring that all processing and handling of personal data is in accordance with current legislation. Where day-to-day responsibility is delegated, this is indicated in each individual point in this statement. Delegation includes only the tasks, not the responsibility.

This statement contains information about your rights when personal data is stored through a customer relationship with Svive.gg, and general information on how we process personal data in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.

Svive does not share personal data with anyone else or use the data for any purpose other than that stated in this Privacy Policy

 

1 Personal data

You have the right to inspect your personal data recorded by Svive.gg in accordance with applicable law. You may at any time request to receive this data free of charge, in line with legislation.

The data will be delivered/transmitted securely. If the data subject submits the application electronically, unless the data subject requests otherwise, the data will be provided in a standard electronic format.

You can also, at any time, request that we delete or correct your personal data, provided that we are not under a legal or other obligation to retain it.

You have the right to port your own personal data that you have given to Svive.gg – data portability. If technically feasible, we may send this data directly to new company. Otherwise, we will e-mail the data to you.

All personal data we send to you in this regard will be sent in encrypted format.

You have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you find that your personal data is not being processed in accordance with this policy.

 

 

1.1 Safeguarding personal data

Svive.gg has good procedures and comprehensive measures in place to ensure there is no unauthorised access to your personal data, and that the processing of data takes place in accordance with the requirements of applicable law. Examples of such measures include risk assessments, the implementation of organisational and physical measures, access control and archiving procedures, and procedures for data processing and monitoring of requests concerning the right of access, rectification and erasure.

You can rest assured that Svive.gg stores your personal data securely.

 

2 Cookies and pixels

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you download a web page. These are typically used to improve your user experience and remember who you are.

The purpose of cookies is to give the website basic functionality like session management, analytics, personalisation and marketing.

First-party cookies are necessary for the website to work.

It is not possible to opt out of these session cookies, and our processing basis for this is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Third-party cookies are used for analysis, marketing and personalisation of the website.

A pixel is a small piece of code on our website that makes it possible to record conversions via online ads. It gives us the opportunity to customise external advertising to customer groups based on their interests internally on our website. We always ask for your consent for the use of a pixel.

 

2.1 How to avoid cookies

If you want to avoid the use of cookies, you can set your browser not to accept them. See your browser’s help pages for settings. Please note that, if you choose to exclude cookies, several features of Svive.gg will stop working.

 

2.2 Analysis

Svive.gg collects anonymous data about visitors to Svive.gg for analysis.

By “anonymous data”, we mean data that is not attributable to a user or an individual. The purpose of this is to collect statistics that can be used to further develop and improve the site. Examples of this type of data are: the number of visitors to the site, how the site is being used, the duration of the visit, where the users come from and the browsers used.

We also collect keywords used by search engine on the website. This is to improve the search hits and customer experience, and information  that is attributable to the user will not be collected.

The basis for processing the data that we use for analysis is legitimate interests. (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

 

2.3 Personalisation

In order to provide you with a relevant and positive experience in our store, we use functions and systems to personalise the content to match you and your interests.

We only carry out personalisation of content on our website if you have agreed.

 

2.4 Marketing

E-mail and text-message marketing is done only if consent is given.

We want our marketing to be perceived as relevant and valuable to you at all times; therefore, the content will usually be tailored. We work with selected partners to offer a good solution for text-messaging and e-mailing.

We and our partners track ads to identify which ones you have viewed online, and which of our products you have looked at. We use this to tailor the store to your interests and to show you relevant ads on the next occasion.

We use cookies and pixels to personalise our online marketing. This is done only if you have given your consent. If consent is not given, we will use only generic ads and other forms of targeting.

 

2.5 Personal data to third parties

Svive.gg will not share, sell, transfer or otherwise disclose your personal data other than as described in this Privacy Policy. Your data will only be shared if we are legally obliged to share it, or if we receive your consent. Business partners will only get access to data if this is necessary to render services for Svive.gg. In such cases, data processing agreements are entered into to ensure data security. In addition, Svive.gg determines how the data processing will take place. More information on the third parties we use can be found in the link under clause 5.0.

 

3 Newsletter and communication

We offer newsletters by e-mail. The contents of these will often be tailored to you, with relevant information and offers.  Receiving these newsletters is optional, and you must explicitly give your consent in connection with promotions, registration. You can also stop the newsletter by clicking on the link provided in the newsletter or send STOP as a text message.

If, for any reason, your transaction is cancelled, we will e-mail you to tell you we have saved your shopping cart. We do this as an additional customer service to make your shopping experience with us as smooth and easy as possible. You can opt out of this service by clicking on the link provided in the e-mail.

We also send out your order and shipping documents, surveys and follow-up e-mails related to completed purchases with us.

 

4 Changes in policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version here with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review the policy regularly. If major changes are made that materially change our privacy practices, we may also notify you by other means such as via e-mail, or on the company website or social media.
